1. Warranty Period

Our products come with a 2-year warranty, starting from the date of purchase.


2. Exclusions

This warranty does not cover damage or defects resulting from:

  • Gnawing or damage caused by animals

  • Improper, careless, or inappropriate use

  • Intentional destruction

  • Normal wear, discoloration, or weakening due to age (such as magnets gradually losing strength)

  • Exposure to moisture or corrosion

  • Use of aggressive cleaning agents, solvents, or abrasives

  • Incorrect installation, modification, or alteration of the product

  • Attempts at self-repair

  • Products not purchased directly from Dyrgard or authorized dealers


3. Warranty Claims: Procedure

To submit a warranty claim, please use the online warranty form at the bottom of this page.
Alternatively, you may contact us via the contact form and provide the following information:

  • Your name, address, and contact details

  • Proof of purchase (invoice or order confirmation)

  • A clear description of the defect or issue

  • Photos or videos for illustration (if possible)

Important:
Do not send the product before receiving instructions from us.
After reviewing your claim, Dyrgard will issue a return authorization or propose another suitable solution.
Depending on the situation, Dyrgard may decide to:

  • Replace the product under warranty without requiring a return, or

  • Request the product for inspection or repair.

If a return is required, please ship the product well-packaged to our return address (shipping costs to be discussed).
Dyrgard cannot be held responsible for damage or loss during transport.


4. Processing and Timeline

After receiving (or approving) your claim, we will assess the product.
In most cases, the item will be repaired or replaced within 10 business days.
In the event of replacement, the defective product becomes the property of Dyrgard and will not be returned.


5. Liability

The warranty covers only the repair or replacement of the defective part.
Dyrgard is not liable for indirect damages, consequential losses, or additional costs resulting from the defect (for example, damage to a cage, terrarium, or animal).


6. International

This warranty also applies to purchases made outside the Netherlands, provided the product is used in accordance with the prescribed guidelines and maintenance instructions.


Additional Information

  • Ensure that any product sent for return is properly packaged; Dyrgard is not responsible for parcels that fail to reach us.

  • Some customers form an emotional attachment to their product. In the case of replacement, the original item will not be returned. Please mention this beforehand to avoid disappointment.

  • Dyrgard does not supply individual parts for self-repair. Warranty becomes void if self-repair is attempted.
